I finally gave in.

I'm composting. Brought about by my garbage disposal not working. What is that phrase: necessity is the mother of composting?

But not a big deal. I had a beautiful vintage hammered aluminum insulated ice bucket in my basement. Made in Italy. Of course, doesn't everyone? It was in the vintage bar supply section of my basement. By the way, those dishes are Homer Laughlin, stamped 1934.

only you would compost in a vintage ice bucket! I bought 2.5 1bs. of alfalfa seeds today... good luck to both of us!
