Some color--finally

This is all that's left of a very tall evergreen tree that was saved by my neighbor's son.
He is about 60 years old and remembers playing under that tree when he was about 10 years old.
I was met by a member of the gas company who informed me that in two days I will have a new gas pipe attached to my meter. That means that I have to move a 18-inch by 12-inch section of my garden with 6-inch tall tulips, hyacinths and other spring bulbs that I have been eagerly waiting to see throughout this long winter. They are resting in a wheelbarrow and will be put back once it's over.
