The best crop of pinks

This year, the only plants that seem to love all the sun and heat are the petunias. They get so drenched with sun for about half of the day that I have to water them twice. Just taking these photos made my camera so hot it was almost burning my hand.

This pot of petunias was grown from seed I saved. They seem to be hardier and slightly peach-ish vs the pink I thought it was the last time I saw it blooming which was last year.

Pepper plant in the petunia pot.
