The first turning tomato. It won't be long now.
Anyway, on my drive home from work today, I was struck by the light. It looked like fall. The shadows were long and the angle of the sun starting to lower in the sky. Can it be happening already? It seems like I'm still waiting for that perfect summer weather. Not too hot, not too dry, no floods. Instead, I got that feeling that comes over me in September. But it's too soon!
