Dead of winter. Running out of things to do. Don't want to return to the basement organization of Christmas decor project. Time to bake another cake.
This one is from the Nigella Lawson "Cook" cookbook. Is it just me or does it need just a pinch of salt? Overall, it was very easy to make. I did not make it in the suggested 8-inch pans because I COULDN'T FIND THEM IN THE BASEMENT!
