I didn't quite get the connection at first. But, as I was enjoying my book du summer (!), "Gardening for a Lifetime...How to Garden Wiser as You Grow Older," I heard what seemed like French music wafting over to me in my side yard. Of course! It's Bastille Day -- July 14th! Already! Just shoot me. Where has this summer gone? Ooops, back to the story....
And what does a very cool, hip, out-of-the-way neighborhood do on July 14th? Have a French party!! At least SOMEONE is having the party because I heard the music and I see the cars lined up down the block.
