A little risky.

When you finally emerge from the winter that never ends, the first day that it's sunny, not raining and no rain forecasted for a couple of days, you start to get the itch. After dumping a couple of buckets of compost, I turned over the section of the garden that will be my early crops.

I planted radishes, lettuce, spinach and radicchio in the section that is covered with nice dark soil. Maybe it was my imagination, but after 5 seasons of adding leaves and some manure, the soil wasn't half bad this spring.
